Slow Down Please...

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future.

If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain.

Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'

So my dear, what you can do to live your life to the fullest?

1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say 'No' to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many, don't be greedy)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to destinations.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns.

Sometimes, a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it, leave it to Him.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases, don't borrow from the future.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the 'Kid in You' everyday. Don't be afraid to cry, laugh, play.
16. Carry a spiritually enlightening book with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20.. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

Take a break....hah...alright, keep on reading....

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations in a journal.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray when you're tired and sleepy.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25.. Keep a folder of favorite bible scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus .'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

Cannot remember all these, no worry, you don't need to. You will only remember those are necessary for you! :D

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more - and show it.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for, that you've never been grateful for before.

Expressing Through Words

Today when I am busy to handling some of the emails that I need to reply. I am preparing my angel workshop information, and my heart is blossoming the feeling of love.

I stop eating chocolate cookies since a year ago. I used to eat it almost every week. And today, I just so in the "mood" to buy myself a pack of choc cookies. Just like a mum buying the candies for her children.

When I am walking back to my office, the sense of joy and self-love grow stronger with every step I walk. Hmm...such a wonderful feeling that I had not experienced. And I realize, loving myself is not only the food indulgence, it is something like you respect yourself to move on the direction you prefer, love to hug yourself (I used to feel weird to hear somebody hug themselves), buying yourself favorite cookies or flowers, reading the books that bring you joy. Well, all of these actions radiates the feeling of self gratitude, self appreciation, and self inspiration.

For me, writing blog is one of my favorite self-love action. I am not a kind of person will say love through my mouth, but normally show by action. One of the love I give to myself is writing my feelings in journal and blog. I have many clients know about who I am, my feelings and thoughts from my blogs. And I realize, I am easier to express my emotion and love through words.

I remember one of my childhood incident, I was unhappy with one of the teacher in school, and I was deeply stressed by the school teaching culture. I hoped I can transfer to another high school with a loving study environment. I did not dare to bring this concern to my parents. What I did was, I wrote a letter to my dad at that night, about how I think for my study, and I told them what I truly hope to do in school.

Guess what, finally, I was successfully to be allowed to enroll into another high school. And the outcome was loving, peace, and harmony. I remember my dad even pat my shoulder and said this to me that I will never forget,

"No matter what is the problems, papa and mama always are here with you, to support anything you want to do. Just freely say it out."

Of course, I bursted out in tears. It is the tears of joy and affirmation.

Every now and then, I write letter to myself, no matter is for encouraging, shore up my faith, or keep my spirit high. I found strength in expressing myself through words. :) Last few days, I found a letter that I wrote on last year which was written for my future self. I took out the letter and read it.

Again, it brings tears and love to myself. From the thought I had in last year, now I can use a new eyes to see the past and suddenly everything becomes clearer and seems like a blessing in disguise. No matter it is a good thing or bad thing that happen in our life, God has a purpose for it. Don't rush to unwrapped this gift, let it shows to you by the perfect timing. I always believe, when I do not know what to do, God always knows what He is doing.

So, I have faith that everything is working out perfectly as it is supposed to. All is well and let us live our life in the fullest way.

The Power and Light in Your Heart

Today when I go for my hair do, my hair stylist was busy attending his clients while I was waiting in the lounge. I was looking around, this is his second hair saloon since two years ago.

During my turn, we usually have our casual chit-chat. And I get to know his changes in life and some new planning for the next year.

He is one of the guy has strong faith. He has gone through the moment when he was betrayed by business partner, business running down, insufficient capital to move on, and disagreement from others.

However, the new and refreshed him is totally different. He carries a bright smile on his face, we talk about buying new houses, and he is planning to get marry with his partner. In my heart, I pray for him. He is blessed and grateful. I feel so comfortable when we talk to each other, the feeling that I experienced now is different compares to the moment of his downturn.

I asked him, "do you still read "The Secret"?"

"Ya, very much, Now I read her new book, The Power."

"Great." I said.

"Now I remind myself to be positive, I do a vision board. Do you know, things that I paste on my vision board started happen in my life, it is truly amazing."

"Good to you!" I smiled and said.

He is the one willing to follow the truth that he perceives in his heart. This is what I always encourage people to do so.

You got to believe the deep voice that comes from your heart. Sometimes when things are not working out, calm yourself and be poised. Only a balanced and calm heart can perceive the divine truth.

Everyday, spend time to go for a slow walk, swimming, reading an inspiring book, or talk to God and Angels. You will somehow find the "Inner Light" shines in your heart. This light can warm you when you cool, protect you when you fear, leading you when you lost.

There are always a Power and Light watch over you, it is just like the light house, leading the lost boat back to the harbor. This Light is there for you, ever since the moment you was born.

Have faith, be calm, and poised. Things are getting better and better. Remember, God always hear your prayer and He is walking this journey with you. Don't be afraid, all is well! :)

I Persist Without Exception!

  

 I expect miracles in my life because faith produces them every single day. 

For me, faith will always be a sounder guide than reason because reason can only go so far. Yet, faith has no limits. I expect miracles in my life because faith produces them every single day. I will believe in the future that I do not see. That is faith. And the reward of this faith is to see the future that I believed.


I remember how I go through this journey when I had nothing. The capital to run a small office, time to go for spiritual practicing, and at that time. I think I was lucky enough, I did not think about all of these, but only contain a strong and purposeful faith that I have.


It is not that easy when everyone in your surrounding disagree on your bold step. I did not know where is my courage came from, but I did it. And, I was able to cross over it until today. And I know the one you are reading here, you can make it THROUGH just like me. 


Have you thought about how long must a child try to walk before he actually does so? Do you think you have more strength than a child? More wisdom? More dreams? How long must I work to succeed before I actually do so? A child would never ask the question, for the answer does not matter. By persisting without exception, my outcome, my success is assured at my hand.


In the bible once said, in Jeremiah, Creator declares,"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Too much time I spent doubting my beliefs and believing my doubts. No more! I have faith in my future and my dreams. I no longer look left or right try to seek the permissions from others but only myself. I look forward. I can only persist. Since, I am a person of great faith. And I know, you can do it, just like I!

Everyday I love you!

妈妈的温暖

今天早起时，听见房外传出侄女恩心在哭闹的声音，还以为她又嚷着姐姐而不愿意去上幼儿班。听姐姐说，恩心很乖，在幼儿班开始学会将一些简单的食物名称。

今天,和平时一样，姐姐准备好上班，就抱起恩心上车，准备载她前往附近的幼儿班。看着姐姐和侄女的背影，很后悔那时没拿起相机，拍起那一刹那的情景。很温暖，也很窝心。

恩心坐上车后，老是不肯乖乖坐好。姐姐看着时间，知道今天可能要迟到了。又是要载着女儿读书，又是要赶着上班。我对着客厅的窗口，向恩心招招手，和她比个再见的手势。才两岁的她，马上从车的座位爬了起来。好几次，姐姐为她系好安全带时，都被她挣脱。顿时，姐姐可急坏了，大声的说，“恩心，做好好！”看着她望着姐姐，哭了出来。

姐姐再次耐心的为她系上安全带，出发了。

当我回到办公室时，给姐姐打了通电话。问问她，刚才恩心还好吗。姐姐在电话的另一端，说着之后所发生的小插曲。

姐姐看着侄女，还是不忍心。就算时间再赶都好，还是带她到街口的早市。到了早市，姐姐给恩心买了个松糕，逗她开心。恩心吃着松糕的当儿，经过买生鸡的摊口。看见鸡笼里走动的鸡时，恩心马上不哭闹了，她指着鸡笼里的鸡说，“噢，wow wow。”姐姐笑了，说，”那不是 wow wow, 那是 chicken。“恩心似非似懂的样子，最后，乖乖听话的跟着姐姐，到幼儿班上课了。

在到幼儿园的门口时，恩心还是有小别扭的，姐姐抱起她，交给幼儿班的导师。恩心被抱到班导师的手上时，终于安静了。看着恩心走进幼儿所时，姐姐也赶着上班了。

我听完姐姐说的故事时，心中涌现丝丝的暖意。刹那之间，开始领悟，为人母亲的伟大。以前的我总以为，有了小孩的时候，就没有了自由。其实，不然。在我们每个人的心中，都有一个小孩。正因为如此，那纯真的天性，让我们心中有了亲情，有了温暖，有了爱！

姐，谢谢你让我见证着这亲情的小插曲，让我的生命有了重量。

God tells me this...

I sit in the food court, seeing people come and go. Some are in rush, some walk in the gentle way. Some grab their food in hunger. Some enjoy their food with group of friends.

I asked myself when I observed...

"What is my purpose here?"

"Do I live my life in a very hunger way?" or

"Do I live in a very gentle way?"

Every morning, I keep asking myself the same questions, "Alice, why are you here? What is your purpose of life?" You know, this is a very same old and boring questions, yet, they always smashed me the most.

It seems like I am not getting my answer at all time. Sometimes, the purpose of my life can be a tiny tasks, such as bring my dogs to a slow walk, grab some flowers on my altar, saying "I love you" to my dear one, or patiently listen to the story of someone who came to me.

I am wondering, God always know who is the person will come to us in the perfect timing. They could be a normal person, saying hello to me when I step into the lift. They could be the person who helped to pick up when my hands are full with stuffs. They could be a stranger give a smile to me when I step into my office lounge. I think, they are "God" in someways, helping me to see the beauty lies within every tiny matter.

I always hear the spiritual gurus say that, "We are all in some part of God, and He is lies within us."

I talked to God every night before I sleep, sometimes I talked "non sense" to Him, telling Him how much I need to pay my bill, how amazing I master a yoga pose. Occasionally, I tell Him, let me to have the stable life, bring me to Norway again to teach those who need You. However, this recently I pray to Him into a broader way...

I tell God,

"Please bring peace to those who need, no matter they have asked or not."

"Please bless those who have anger in heart, help them to forgive."

"Please help those who struggle in life, and do not know where to turn to, shine on Your light to their mind."

Amazingly, I easily get into sleep during this special moment of "conversation with God"...I think, God is telling me, "When you pray for others, this same go for you." And the peace brings me a good rest without hesitation.

We all deserve the freedom to do what we love, and what we passionate about. I like to write my journal in my blog, part of the reason is, connecting with my readers. But the bigger part is, my little journal or self expression could be the turning point of someone's life. I always believe this, and because of this faith, it keeps me to write and share.

I received those appreciative emails and comments, those make me affirm that, "Love bond us together, and it heals every sorrow and pain." Your emails and comments can delight my days, months and years...how wonderful is this!

Know that, I am here always pray for you, always have the peace of mind, the passion to shine, and the love to give.

Know that, I see you as powerful and beautiful as angels, because you are. You have a pair of wings, all you need is to spread it and fly.
